Why is there a popping sound when a joint is adjusted?
Adjustment of a joint may result in release of gas bubbles between the joints that make a popping sound – it’s exactly the same as when you “crack” your knuckles. The noise is caused by the change of pressure within the joint that results in gas bubbles being released. There is no pain involved.

Decompression Therapy
Sometimes treating back pain can require more help than direct hands-on care. This is when the doctors at Yucha Medical Pain Management & Chiropractic Rehabilitation use decompression therapy. This is a non-surgical procedure that requires stretching the spine using a table or similar motorized device to relieve back pain and other problems associated with spinal disc injuries. Decompression therapy is applied with the goals of relieving pain and promoting an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerating, or herniated discs as well as pinched nerves, sciatica, and arm or leg pain.
